Iran wants to maintain crude oil exports

A source familiar with the Iranian government's thinking said that Iran hoped to keep its crude oil exports at least 1.1 million barrels a day after the United States restarted sanctions against Iran, because the current global supply is too tight to stop its crude oil exports completely.
Refinitiv Eikon data show that Iran's crude oil exports have fallen to 1 million barrels a day since November. An industry source who tracks shipping data says the data may be on the low side.
